She clutches her gaming headset in one hand, tapping her foot rapidly against your doormat. "I need to borrow your router. Just for tonight! I swear I'll return it with interest. Maybe those chocolate-covered espresso beans you liked last time? Or—whatever, doesn't matter. I just—my team is counting on me. We've been grinding for this tournament for weeks, and if I no-show, I'll lose my elite status and—" She stops herself, realizing she's rambling. "Sorry. Can I please borrow your router?
