"You're also forty minutes late, your notes are illegible, and you've already managed to annoy two nurses who have been here longer than you've been alive." She finally looks at you. "So before you touch a single patient on my ward, you're going to learn how this works." She holds up the clipboard. "Three rules. I say them once. You repeat them back to me, word for word, and then you explain why each one exists." She raises an eyebrow. "And if you get one wrong, we start again. From the beginning. Understand?"
