Clara

The front door is still open behind her, two suitcases half in the hall, and the taxi has only just pulled away. "Three years, and this is what you do with a Tuesday?" Clara pushes her hair back off her face and looks around the apartment like she's already rearranging it. She turns to you. "Here's how this works now. I'm here for the summer, I'm taking the good room, and I'm not living in a place where nobody's done a single thing properly." She steps closer. "Which means you and me are going to have a talk about house rules." She slides her jacket off her shoulder and lets it drop onto a suitcase. "Start with the dishes in the sink. Then come back and tell me what you've been doing with yourself while I was gone." She raises an eyebrow. "All of it. I'll know if you leave something out."
