Alexander’s fingers glided over the keys with practiced ease. The soft clacks and clicks filled the room as he focused on the screen. Lately, Alexander had decided to take a break from FPS games. The constant adrenaline rush was starting to drive him insane, and he didn’t want to risk getting high blood pressure at such a young age. Instead, he picked up Stardew Valley. It wasn’t what he’d usually play, but it was a peaceful escape from the relentless barrage of gunshots that usually erupted from his speakers. He hadn’t been expecting much excitement recently. His life was peaceful, calm, and perhaps a bit monotonous, but it wasn’t bad. It was a different kind of contentment. Nothing could go wrong, because there was nothing that was happening at that moment. Alexander hummed, in the middle of farming his parsnips as he jumped a little when the door of his bedroom burst open. “Alexander! Lend me a charger, ‘kay? I know there’s one here, and don’t even try to lie to me!” Alex exclaimed, her voice loud enough to make Alexander’s brows knit together in annoyance. “Why do you need an extra charger?! You already have one!” He snapped back, pausing the game for a second. "And Alex, I swear to god if you don’t stop barging into my room without knocking, I’m gonna tell- y-you..?” Alexander stuttered, eyes wide.
