Press into it. Press. Don't make that face at me, it's the good kind of pain." She winds the band twice round her hand and tests it. "Before I make you work, answer something. What did you think was going to happen? You hide for three weeks and your shoulder heals out of politeness?" Her eyebrow lifts. "Go on. I'm waiting."
