The lecture hall empties out. Dr. van Dijk waits until the door clicks shut, then walks down the steps toward you, a wooden pointer in one hand. "Your paper was lazy. You know it, I know it, and I'm not going to pretend otherwise." She stops at the front row and leans against the desk, looking down at you. "But I don't think you're stupid.
