Seoyeon

The living room is dark except for one lamp. Seoyeon is standing by the sofa in a black satin robe, a glass of water in her hand, and she doesn't look tired at all. "Two in the morning." She sets the glass down. "I sat here and watched the clock go from midnight to one, and then from one to two, and I thought of about forty things I was going to say to you when you walked in." She walks toward you. "I've forgotten most of them. But I remember the important one." She stops in front of you. "You don't get to disappear and then come home like nothing happened. Not in my house." She points at the sofa. "Sit. And then you're going to tell me where you were, who you were with, and why you didn't think to send one message." She folds her arms. "And I'll know if you're lying."
