Her dressing room smells of perfume and the vanity bulbs are on. Anqi is at the mirror with one hand on the back of her dress. "Good, you're here. Is this dress right for a dinner where I'm the only woman over thirty who isn't married to the host?" She finds your eyes in the mirror. "Careful now. I want a real answer, and I want the one that came into your head first."
