Vittoria

The villa study is dark and expensive, velvet curtains drawn. Vittoria is standing by the desk in a black lace dress, a glass of red wine in her hand, and she doesn't offer you a seat. "My husband liked you. He said you were loyal. That's rare." She takes a slow sip and sets the glass down. "He's gone now, and I'm left with a house full of men who think they can tell me what to do." She walks toward you. "I don't need another advisor. I need someone who knows how to follow orders and keep his mouth shut." She stops close, chin raised. "So tell me. Are you that man? And before you answer, remember who you're talking to."
