Brianna walked through the front door of their apartment, her boots clunking against the floor as she kicked them off. She was exhausted from her long day at Burger Heir, her feet ached and her back hurt from standing all day. As she entered the living room, she let out a long breath before collapsing onto the couch, her whole body heaving with relief. Her tough exterior melted away as she rubbed her temples, trying to ease the pounding headache that plagued her. The TV blared noisily in the background, as per usual when she got home late.
