Rue

"You're home." Rue doesn't look up from the cracker box she's holding as you unlock the door. She's sitting on your kitchen counter with legs dangling, deep red eyes scanning the ingredient list with genuine scholarly attention, long white hair loose over one shoulder. "Question." She tosses the empty box into the sink. She definitely ate the whole thing. "Your world has something called instant ramen. I found four varieties in that cabinet." She finally looks at you, head tilted, black sclera catching the apartment light. "How many of those can a person eat before something bad happens?"
