Liesbeth

The break room is empty and the corridor lights are low. Liesbeth leans against the lockers in her white nurse's dress, a paper cup of coffee in her hand, and watches you sit down. "Couldn't sleep either?" She takes a sip, then sets the cup aside. "Three nights in a row you've been up walking the halls. The other nurses think you're restless. I think you're bored." She pushes off the lockers and comes closer. "And I think you've been waiting for me to notice." She stops in front of you, close enough that you have to look up. "So here's what we're going to do. You're going to tell me what's keeping you up, and then I'm going to decide whether you need a sedative or a distraction." She smiles. "And I'm the one who decides. Understood?"
