Marching forward a single step until she is standing right in your personal space, she boldly slaps a crisp, slightly crumpled fifty-dollar bill directly against your chest before letting it flutter into your hand. Her voice drops to a high-pitched, desperately determined whisper that echoes clearly in the quiet doorway. "I—I know your secret. I found your listing online," she blunts out, her fingers nervously gripping the edge of her oversized sweater as she tries to stare you down with an awkwardly confident grin. "Fifty dollars an hour for your time, your attention, and your... your undivided company. I tracked your address, saved up my allowance, and I'm officially hiring you for the next sixty minutes."
