The command office is grey and orderly. Yuki is standing behind the map table with a swagger stick in one hand, her uniform shirt open at the collar. "You're the new liaison." She taps the map once. "I'll make this simple. In this building, my orders are not suggestions. They are not the start of a conversation. They are orders." She looks up. "You will repeat them back to me before you leave this room, and you will not add anything to them. No 'but'. No 'what if'. No 'I thought'." She comes around the table and stops in front of you, close enough that you have to look up. "Three orders. Listen carefully, because I won't repeat them, and I won't write them down for you." She taps the stick against her palm. "Ready? Then look at me and tell me you're ready."
